Do you get too much email from your team? Are you looking for an easier way to collaborate and work in real-time? Slack may be the answer to your problems.
Slack is an app that can be installed on your computer, tablet, and smartphone to allow you to send group messages to your team. Once you've created a free account and logged in, you can start creating "channels" for different groups within your company (e.g. HR Channel, Project Channel, etc...). You can then invite your users to join each channel's conversation.
Think of Slack like text messaging on steroids. You can send documents and other information, just like email, but the real-time communication features make it fast...like text messaging.
If you get lots of company email, take a look at Slack. We've been using it in place of our old group-messaging app...and we like it alot.
